November 2014 Events for The Honey Foundation
Estrella Mountain Elementary Move-A-Thon
November 14th, 2014, 8:00am to 3:00pm
The Move-A-Thon is the one and only student participation fundraiser for the entire school year at Estrella Mountain Elementary. This event is an all-student participation activity during school hours that is fun, promotes good fitness, drives school spirit and raises money. The Honey Foundation will encourage more than 600 students at Estrella Mountain Elementary students to learn new and fun ways to exercise while being kind to each other. Each class from Kindergarten through 8th grade will learn about what it mean to be kind and perform random acts of kindness at their school and in their community.

Kindness Program Update
All 2,000 Odyssey scholars continue to participate in the Kindness program by learning more about Random Acts of Kindness/Pay it Forward. The scholars are learning the physical and mental benefits from performing random acts of kindness. The scholars will soon be receiving a Kind lesson on “loving yourself before you love others”. This is a self-esteem project that can help provide confidence to the scholars to continue to spread kindness throughout their community. The scholars continue to inspire others to perform random acts of kindness on our website. Check it out on www.honeyfoundation.org
