Guidelines for Honeybee members and website use.

We encourage our members and users to behave with kindness and respect when using this website. The following are our Terms of Use for all content submitted or posted to The Honey Foundation website.

No Personal Information
For your safety and privacy, please do not post or submit any personal information (such as phone numbers, age, addresses, or social security numbers).

Post at Your own Risk
Your use and participation in The Honey Foundation website is at your own risk. By registering for an account, you take responsibility for postings under your identification and use the information you provide at your own risk. The Honey Foundation is not responsible for the content or opinions posted.

No Offensive Language
The Honey Foundation does not allow offensive, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory or hateful language. We reserve the right to remove any postings that disparage or insult anyone, and any content that is abusive or hateful.

No External Links, Solicitations or Advertisements
In order to keep our users safe and enhance their online experience, we prohibit the posting of any links to other websites. Please do not post advertisements or solicitations for any charity. Unfortunately, it is impossible to verify the validity of external organizations; therefore, in an effort to protect our users from fraud, we must prohibit solicitations.

No Commercial Usage
The Honey Foundation videos, stories, lesson plans and kindness ideas may only be used intact, for the purposes of spreading awareness about Kindness or promoting acts of Kindness. Please do not alter them in any way. Please do not re-post or redistribute the Foundation’s messages on any other websites. Our content is for personal use, use in the classroom, or other non-commercial use. Any use of The Honey Foundation name, logos, or materials for any other purpose, or use that results in personal financial or economic gain, is strictly forbidden. We encourage you to refer others back to this website (www.honeyfoundation.org) where all material is available.

Social Media
The Honey Foundation is built on the concept of kindness and sharing. We use social media sites, like Facebook, Google, Yahoo, and WordPress to promote The Honey Foundation brand and the random acts of kindness performed by our Members. All random acts of kindness registered on The Honey Foundation website are subject to sharing on other social media sites.

In order to create an account on The Honey Foundation website, you must first register using a social media account. All registered acts of kindness will be shared with your network using your social media account. While it is not necessary to create an account on The Honey Foundation to access our general information and resources, it is necessary to track your random acts of kindness campaigns.

All Posts are Subject to Review
Your submission of material to The Honey Foundation website in no way creates any obligation or duty on the part of the Foundation to post or use such material, or if we do so, to give you credit. The Foundation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify and/or remove any story posted or submitted to its website, although it has no duty to do so.

Copyright and Ownership
You must have copyright ownership of all material that you post or submit to our site. Once material is posted to the site, the Foundation will have the non-exclusive right to use all content in furtherance of its mission, including, but not limited to, use in all print, film, video and electronic media; use in television, radio, and internet broadcasting; and use on billboards and other photographic displays. By giving the Foundation the non-exclusive right to use your story, you retain the right to use the story elsewhere.

Use of Submissions and Postings
Please be aware that all submissions are subject to being used, reproduced, modified, published, edited, translated, distributed, performed, and displayed in any media or medium, or any form, format or forum now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose, in perpetuity, without further notice.
